Risk Disclosure & Disclaimer
The short version
- Trading perpetual futures and digital assets can lose you all of the money you trade with.
- Nothing MACH shows you is financial advice, and nothing is guaranteed.
- Backtests, demo results and examples on this website are hypothetical or illustrative, not real results.
- Stops and limits reduce risk; they don't eliminate it.
01General
This Risk Disclosure & Disclaimer is part of the Terms of Service for MACH, provided by Nordic Future LLC. It doesn't list every risk. Read it carefully, and don't use MACH unless you understand and accept these risks.
02No investment advice
MACH and this website provide software and information only. Nothing in them, including AI responses, market reads, flight plans, strategy scores, backtests, rankings, copied traders, notifications, posts or examples, is financial, investment, trading, legal or tax advice, or an offer, recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any asset. We are not registered as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor or futures commission merchant, and we don't act as your fiduciary. You alone decide whether to trade and how.
03Risk of loss
Prices of digital assets and perpetual contracts are extremely volatile and can move sharply in minutes. You can lose some or all of the money you trade with. Only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely.
04Leverage and liquidation
Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains. A small price move against a leveraged position can lead to large losses and automatic liquidation by Hyperliquid, which can close your position at an unfavorable price and charge liquidation fees. Funding payments can add to losses over time.
05Stops and limits aren't guaranteed
Stops, candle-close stops, emergency stops, take-profits, leverage caps, risk-per-trade settings and daily loss limits are tools to manage risk, not guarantees. They may execute at worse prices than set (slippage), execute late, or fail to execute, for example when prices gap, liquidity is thin, orders are rejected, or Hyperliquid, a blockchain, your connection or MACH is slow or down. Losses can exceed the risk you selected.
06Automated and AI trading
MACH's autopilot uses AI models and automated rules that can misread markets, act on stale or wrong data, make errors, behave unexpectedly, or stop working. Software bugs, model errors, outages and rate limits can cause trades to be missed, duplicated, mis-sized or closed at a bad time. Automated trading can lose money quickly and repeatedly, including while you aren't watching.
07Backtests and hypothetical performance
Backtests, strategy scores, robustness checks, demo mode and any simulated results are hypothetical. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. There are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical results and the actual results later achieved.
Simulated results are prepared with the benefit of hindsight and don't involve financial risk, so they can't fully account for the impact of real trading, such as the ability to withstand losses or stick to a strategy, fees, slippage, funding, liquidity and market impact. Past performance, whether real or simulated, doesn't predict future results.
08Copy trading
Copy trading mirrors other traders who are independent third parties. Their past results don't predict future results, rankings are based on historical public data, and a top trader can lose heavily. Your results will differ from theirs because of timing, price, size, fees, your limits and partial fills. You may copy someone whose strategy or risk is unsuitable for you.
09Synthetic and third-party markets
Stocks, indices, commodities and other assets traded as perpetual contracts on Hyperliquid are synthetic derivatives. They don't give you ownership of the underlying asset, they may trade outside normal market hours, and their prices can differ from the underlying market. Markets run by third-party deployers on Hyperliquid carry additional risks, including oracle failures and isolated-margin rules.
10Blockchain and platform risk
Hyperliquid, blockchains, bridges, smart contracts, wallets and service providers can fail, be hacked, be congested, change their rules, or become unavailable, and transactions can't be reversed. Stablecoins such as USDC can lose their peg. We don't control and aren't responsible for these systems.
11Examples on this website
Performance figures, P&L cards, trade reports, pilots, leaderboards, live flights, console sessions and strategy results shown on this website are illustrative examples or simulations for demonstration only. They aren't real trades, real users or real results, and they don't represent results anyone has achieved or will achieve. Screenshots of the app may show demo or sample data.
12Regulatory and tax
Laws and regulations for digital assets and derivatives vary by jurisdiction and change often. Changes could limit or end your ability to use MACH or Hyperliquid. It's your responsibility to make sure your use is legal where you live and to report and pay any taxes on your trading.
13No guarantees
Statements about what MACH does or may do are not promises of performance. We make no guarantee that MACH will be profitable, available, accurate or error-free, or that any strategy, signal or trader will perform as it has before.
